The 15 weeks journey came to a close this afternoon. However, the end to me is just the beginning. The beginning of a new friendship with all of you. I was filled with tonnes of emotions. Ranging from high spiritedness to solemn feelings today. I was heartened to hear from all of you that you have had learnt from this experience. Just as you are learning, I was too. And I am sure the learning wouldn't stop here. The "thank yous" expressed to me today was definitely encouraging and you gals know that I definitely have to express a very BIG THANK YOU to all 10 of you. Being your mentor, I have learnt that everyone was born different. And the differences in our lives could eventually lead us to achieving what we want personally or as a group. hoho! here's the update! :D we have got 1600 pens!
ohmy. i think that is a lot! anyway we have to stay back most probably on thursday to count the pens, and bundle them up in 100s. yeap. JIAYOU everyone! (:
as for our money, we have to be honest and not raise anymore, though we still have 10 more beautiful roses. aww. we'll find a way, maybe sell them for valentines? HAHA. xD

hello yellow! :D
haha today arica and wanping met 1pm at toa payoh to buy materials to make the souvenirs we will be selling at the flea market next sunday. :D woohoo that was one long sentence. anyhow, i met them at around 2.30pm, and then we went boon keng area to buy more cheap things.
basically, we purchased paper clips (of varying prices), marbles (a new idea we thought of, to draw/paste eyes on them to make cute paper weights), star paper (strips of paper used to make stars), straws (for the hearts), clay (a new idea to make clay figurines and paint them), wooden pegs (to paint and decorate) and ready-made cute clips (so that we have sth ready-made xD).
i think that is all. quite a handful. (: and because we are all students with limited financial resources, my mum had gladly agreed to sponsor the cost for all our expenditures regarding this flea market booth. :D that is truly worth celebrating yeah? :D ohh she also told me to first anticipate the crowd we will be receiving, so that we can make out products according to that crowd number. we need people to take care of money, and to take note of how much of each souvenir we sell, so that we know which items are hot-selling and which are not. (:
also, my ever-active mum wishes to post more information about the booth on her blog! WOOHOO! so i will require the details of the booth, eg. the address, time open/close, what we will be selling, price range etc. also, jennifer may want to acquire from SO if we can sell the things to raise money for them, meaning for charity. this would increase the sales as people would be more willing to buy from us. :D
ohh. we also need to come up with a timetable for who takes what shift for the flea market. maybe all of us can tag about this. let me start,
i can be there for the whole day, preferbly in the morning, as i may need to complete last minute stuffs for ltc.
YEAH. something like that. can?
ohh and do spread the word around about our blog, among us. meaning, ask all of us to blog at least one post. yep. (: then we can post notices here also. if possible, and you all know how, we can post documents up here, so that we can get them easily. hmm wait, email can do the same job too. -.- haha.

First of all..... let us celebrate! YAY!!!!! I am so proud and elated to see your proposal and am looking forward to hearing all the wonderful results you all will be getting. I must say that I can feel the energy in each and every one of you oozing and I am brimming with excitement.
Reflecting back, I would have to say that I am very encouraged to see that all the YELLOW gals are able to carry out their tasks very well. Now, I firmly believe that each and every one of you and myself will be able to also achieve our personal goals!
Oh yeah, I will be bringing my parents to Penang during the Chinese New Year Holiday next year! YAY! That calls for a celebration as I am almost achieving my goal. My compilation of materials for my portfolio is also well underway. So all is looking good.
I went to the gym yesterday, weighed myself and realised that I have to lose 10 kg to get back to my original size *sob* *sob*... So peeps! I am committing to running one hour, three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Alright, Thankyou Wanping & Ely for going down to Singapore Olympics today to check the details. By the way, everyone go refer to your email if you have not known what's up, babe! SO needs us to send in proposal, so that's why I shouldn't be here now :/ But still..
OKAY PEOPLE CELEBRATE AGAIN! I managed to get a booth at the flea market near my house.. I doubt there will be many people, but we can only try our luck, yeah? :D So we can start to think of what we are going to sell, and do bring down your old toys or books at home. Take this chance to sell them to raise funds + clear your house! :D Perfect opportunity, grab it before it goes away.
This was one small incident that happened when I went to register for a booth just now.. There was no one at the counter and I only hear people singing karaoke since they have karaoke session today. I went to knock on their door and no one heard it (obviously?) Oh, then this super old old old man came and speak to me in some alien language and I could not comprehend! I was using hand language after that, trying to act out "I am here to register!" Then obviously I failed to. He got another guy here, he's much much much younger. Then he asked what I was there for; so I said I wanted to register.. and the worst comment for today came like this after he saw my application form..
Your name very funny lehh.. HUH! you only 15years old ah? You look like POLY ONE LEHHH.
OHMYGOSH (in a very high pitch) Fine I confess i look mature but don't have to spell it out right?! :/ bummer!
Hope everyone is achieving at least 1/3 of their goals. Well, I am trying hard already. And I miss my buddy so terribly. I need her here with me before I lose my way. Oh never mind, Ely can save me with orienteering! HAHA. Jiayous everyone :D yes yes we need to buy barrels of oil, wanping you're LAME!
